It has being a year now that we last went on a "cruise." While searching for photos. The good memories prompted me to get organised. Looking at the old pictures to see how we acquired the taste of going on holidays by cruising.

This is the first part of 3 write-ups about our love affairs with 3 cruise ships.

From the beginning - no idea at all but a simple "Must". Gradually, we learned.

Now what is a holiday through cruising
Everybodys idea of a holiday is about getting away.
First point that comes to the head - was taking a holiday to unwind. Enough had being explained about "Land holidays" You know, sales speeches - About touring and sight-seeing. No one had ever explained about the meaning of getting away. Really getting away!
Lets see! Consider again.
Some very basic points about not having to wake up early. An idea of holiday is not to sit on a tour bus for 10 hours. Or dashing around to filled the stomach. Questions like - what should be eat or get to eat? Last of all, which Hotel or class of hotel can we get tonight?

Imagine all these "ifs".

Then compare the scenario with cruising. You just sleep eat and relax.
Throw in.
The shows, the food and the company - the level and standards - all out of this world. At least, when compared with that little domain that we are so used to.

This page is about the Aries. A "small" ship.

We were thought to eat, sing and make merry.

For me, in particular, just when I thought I had seen almost most to be seen. The first cruise was an eye-opener and an unforgettable experiences.

It made think all oevr again.
